Beautifully begins to capture the personality of this alumna from the very first sentence and only gets better from there. She takes the reader on a journey closer and closer to the subject; great photo selection, overall design and sub-heads.

Great example of long-form feature writing. I felt like I was sitting and talking with Sandra. The writer had great use of imagery and I loved the "list" format.

It was so nice to read about the woman behind all those greeting cards I remember growing up! I like how the author made the article easily digestible by breaking it up into five sections. I think only a skilled interviewer would be able to get a famous artist who has excelled in so many ways to reveal that "she always felt like she wasn't naturally good at anything." The photos were also great!

Loved this story and how it shows STEAM activities like robotics have a "soft skills" side. I really appreciated the inclusion of student voices in this speech. Your opening is brilliant and I loved the descriptive imagery.

Very strong intro paragraph. I loved seeing a female student in robotics as the lead photo.

Great title. Well-written.

I love how the writer met the artist at the installation space so they were immersed in her work while talking. It allowed for that nice interaction with the security guard at the end of the story. The alumnae connection is great (Zwerling and Vick). That the installation was an incredibly time-consuming process definitely came across. You can tell the artist is excited, but exhausted.

This story enriches the audience's experience of the physical art installation. Great use of photography. Just the right length. Good quotes.
