The video is elevated and sends a strong message of putting COVID in the historical context of challenges in society and the school history. The music, direction, and student statements are powerful and send a united message of togetherness. The weight of the pandemic and lessons learned were told in a way that brought a serious yet inspirational tone.

We've seen in marketing the power of videos to connect, elicit emotion, and persuade. This video does all three. COVID-19's disruption to "normalcy" required schools to pivot. This pivot required effective communications that reassured families, reaffirmed the school's commitment, and inspired families to support their school. This video was unique in that its intention was to give hope, show that this time was not "wasted," and highlight key lessons learned.

It's amazing what you can accomplish with just one student. This video uses humor and graphics to communicate important COVID safety protocols. Its uniqueness probably kept parents and students watching, which is what makes it effective.

The video did a wonderful job of taking complicated COVID protocols into something manageable and personal. The student acting and the voiceovers and music make the instructions easy to follow and also less scary and harsh. Good appeal to all community members.

I LOVED this video! The music was upbeat, informal, and fun and the narration by a student was engaging. The outtakes were silly (in a good way) and the sound effects also enhanced the overall feel of the video. The direction took a tired and monotonous message and turned into something that is not only informative but entertaining as well.
