SAMPLE JUDGES' COMMENTS
When I first looked at this logo I overanalyzed it. Is the placement of the Sacred Heart mark relative to the tower structure arbitrary? Is the use of overlapping color too busy for a mark? I looked again with a more holistic eye and mind. From typography to hierarchy to color to shape, it works flawlessly as a quick take and beautifully as a more complex "illustration." This logo's multi-level functionality does the heavy lifting a good logo should do, all the while looking effortless and welcoming.

SAMPLE JUDGES' COMMENTS
By cleverly cropping and incorporating Hanoi's landmarks, and by using color, which pays tribute to the school's divisions, this logo tells a multi-faceted story. I particularly like the shapes created in between the numerals — they work nicely with the lines and curves of the landmark illustrations. These same shapes also create wonderful windows through which we see background information when the logo is layered over an image.

SAMPLE JUDGES' COMMENTS
This logo clearly celebrates the school’s 50th anniversary while combining the school's initials. I especially like how it's used on the school swag and pennant. The design also works well in variations (e.g., reversed out or with the years at the bottom).

This 50th Year mark is a nice surprise. It's clean and contains the right amount of iconography, but what I appreciate most is the modern design and that it looks to the future.
