Michael Branscom began shooting stills for schools and higher ed in 2002 and short films in 2013. He has worked with over 75 schools and colleges and is adept at making students and teachers feel comfortable in front of the camera. With a degree in photojournalism from the University of Minnesota, Michael strives to work unobtrusively resulting in beautiful, compelling moments captured in photos and film that tell your school’s story. He has a unique ability to convey the joy and connection that teachers and students share in the classroom, on the field, in the studio, and on the stage. Michael is an FAA licensed drone pilot, educated and trained to legally and safely shoot video and stills with small unmanned aircraft. Now the potential for an aerial perspective comes with every shoot. Michael’s skills range from portraits to architectural images, sports to student life. Michael will work hard for your school and deliver a library of images you’ll use for years to come.
